To conquer the stress of hitting the road in the most extreme winter conditions, equip your passenger cars, powerful sedans, small SUVs with the Barum Polaris 5. Maintain contact with the road, thanks to the innovative design of its tread pattern, its biting edges, and its chevron sipes that ensure road holding and handling on wet, icy or snowy roads. Its response to braking and acceleration is excellent, on the highway or in the mountains. Drive comfortably and safely.
The optimally arranged blocks and transverse incisions of the shoulders and central grooves significantly improve grip on snowy roads. The specific arrangement of multifunctional sipes strengthens grip in all directions when in contact with the running surface. The specific profile central design enhances lateral grip on snowy roads. Results: the traction is of exceptional quality, the braking distance is reduced, and travel is secure on snowy roads.
The optimization of the positioning of the longitudinal and lateral grooves improves the water displacement of the tread on wet pavement. Additional cutouts on the shoulder area ensure optimal ground contact, which enhances grip on wet pavement. This arrangement of lateral and circular grooves balances and secures movements on wet pavement.
The improved tread structure, equipped with calibrated blocks in various ways, the length of which varies on each side of the band, helps to minimize rolling noise. Thus, the attenuation of these noises promotes a more relaxed and less stressful drive for all vehicle occupants.

So far top!
The tire's traction on snow is impeccable, driving stability, straight-line stability and rolling comfort are typical of winter tires and therefore flawless. Wet grip and aquaplaning with the full tread are anyway problem-free. Typical rolling noise due to the open tread, but not disturbing. Can compete with any premium tire and is especially in terms of price-performance ratio in my opinion a sensible investment.
Great tires for the price
Perfect
Currently they seem to be good tires. Not noisy. Decent quality-price ratio. Not tested on snow yet.
Good tire, value for money.
Good tire, I have had them now for 14 days, I am surprised by the low rolling noise, very good tread, I attach great importance to the tread as we have a lot of snow. I can't say anything about the lifespan yet.
So far very good
Very good tires for the price. Grips well on both wet and dry roads.
For now, the tires are fine, we will see how they perform in the snow when it starts to fall.
