Fitted on Discovery 1. Very good quality/performance/price ratio. Very good road holding and braking on wet roads. Incredible traction on snow/ice and in mud! Not noisy for this type of tread. Longevity remains to be seen.

First tyre

Really good for the track and rough paths, also very laterally stable on the road. On icy and slushy snow, it grips well. On wet and dry roads, nothing to complain about. We'll see over time and regarding fuel consumption.

I was looking for 2 new all-weather/all-terrain tyres for my 2016 Cherokee here. The Comforser CF1100 A/T appealed to me greatly in terms of appearance (compared to the Yoko Geolander), and the price was unbeatable compared to other providers online. Ordering via PayPal was straightforward, and just 1 day later I received the tracking number. Four days later, the tyres arrived from Spain. They were newly produced with DOT 2424. The tread blocks have a new height of 11mm. I would rate the wet grip (braking performance/lateral guidance) on asphalt as comparable to my previous mid-range winter tyres. As expected, due to its coarse tread pattern and higher weight compared to standard tyres, the fuel consumption of this reinforced tyre is about 1 litre/100km higher on average. However, forest and mud paths are no longer a problem at any time of the year. The only downside is the significantly increased rolling noise, which is now somewhat noticeable in the interior. It becomes audible from 45km/h on asphalt (similar to a wheel bearing damage). However, on country roads at around 85km/h, thanks to higher engine revs and more ambient noise, it is not as noticeable, typical "AllTerrain". Another positive aspect for me is that the tyre is about 1cm taller due to manufacturing, which means the speedometer now only has a 2 km/h deviation up to 100km/h, instead of the previous 5 km/h. How it performs in winter and its long-term durability remains to be seen. But so far, I am satisfied with both the seller and the tyre.
