The tyres in use are very good. I’d previously bought just two for the front-wheel drive and liked them a lot, so I changed the other two and now I have all four matching.
Perfect tyre
Hard to assess after so few kilometres. But it seems OK.
For driving in the Rhineland and regularly into the Eifel – even in snow – a very solid all-rounder. In wet conditions, the tyre is clearly convincing: high grip, clean braking performance, no twitchy aquaplaning. On snow and slush it is sufficiently safe for typical low mountain ranges; not a substitute for extreme winter conditions, but absolutely suitable for everyday use. In motorhome use it really shows its strengths: a stable carcass, good directional stability even when loaded, no spongy feeling on the motorway. Pleasantly quiet for a C-rated tyre and economical on fuel. Overall: reliable, unflappable, exactly right for year-round use with a camper and changing conditions.
