SHOULDER AND SIDEWALL PROTECTION

SHOULDER AND SIDEWALL PROTECTION
High resistance to wear and tear is part of Michelin's DNA. It is further optimized by adding a new protection to the shoulders, a series of trapezoidal blocks of 1.5 mm. These incorporate more robust rubber compounds.
This innovation originates from the Michelin range of tires for military and off-road trucks (X Force ZL), and strengthens the shoulders while keeping the carcass flexible.

TREAD PATTERN

TREAD PATTERN
The Agilis CrossClimate from Michelin is the worthy successor to the award-winning CrossClimate tire for cars: made on the same model and improved thanks to the lessons learned from it, it incorporates the V tread pattern, deploying a cutting-edge alliance between highly technical blocks and self-locking 3D sipes.
The Agilis CrossClimate thus combines longevity and abilities, a traditional mindset of Michelin. Advanced technology and 9.2 mm deep sipes, it is designed to benefit as much as possible from the qualities of premium rubber, and to serve at 100% of its means until reaching the wear indicator of the band.

NEW TREAD WEAR INDICATOR

NEW TREAD WEAR INDICATOR
The tread wear indicator of the Agilis CrossClimate is now placed in the groove, for easier reading of the remaining rubber percentage.
The new tread measures 9.2 mm. The legal minimum depth being 1.6 mm, 7.6 mm of high technology Michelin rubber must be worn before reaching it.
