The Rainexpert 5 tire has been specially designed by Uniroyal to "keep your heart light even in heavy rain". The tread pattern is breathtaking, each area is specially optimized to allow the tire to combine the best performance on wet ground, comfortable driving, and increased longevity. The driving pleasure is at its maximum.
The optimised sequence of tread blocks helps to limit noise emissions. The steep outer grooves, oriented circumferentially, reduce resonance phenomena, while the lateral grooves closed on the inside and outside of the shoulder contribute to quieter rolling.
The new tread compound helps to limit abrasion. The continuous segmentation of the tread pattern, ensured by the sipes, helps to reduce wear, while the optimised design and the balanced distribution of rubber between the inner and outer parts of the tread promote even wear over time.
The latest evolution of Shark Skin technology is based on wide circumferential grooves combined with refined outer shoulder grooves. Aqua-Twist sipes complete this design by improving water evacuation, thereby contributing to high grip and enhanced control on wet roads.

Too few kilometres to give an opinion that could help others buy this tyre. In any case, when new it has excellent grip on wet roads and it is quiet.
I’m used to Uniroyal rain tyres. As for Centralepneus: unbeatable value for money, impeccable and fast service and, most importantly, always a very recent DOT; this time: week 5 / 2026. I highly recommend Centralepneus.
Tyres for wet roads with guaranteed grip. When driving in heavy rain and at legal speeds for the different types of roads, the grip is excellent. In light rain or on simply wet tarmac, the driving feel is equivalent to dry tarmac. And on completely dry tarmac, they are better than many high-end ones. Medium–high hardness; durability is sufficient over 4 years of use, provided the necessary rotation is carried out.
I recommend it on wet roads.

The tyres are very good, but the delivery, i.e. the delivery time, was very long, regardless of the holidays: about 20 days, and they were not shipped from China, but from Poland.
