I've used this type of tyre before; it's very durable, doesn't drone, has good grip, provides direct steering and holds up well even on rough terrain. I can only recommend it.

The tyre performs excellently in an average urban environment. It is neither noisy nor unstable. Its grip is adequate on wet and snowy roads as well. I bought the tyres for a 12,000 km trip to Africa with the car. Their true performance will become apparent to me there.

The set of Yokohama Geolandar tyres I purchased was delivered in just a few days to one of the partner workshops and far exceeded my expectations: excellent tyres, kept in perfect condition, with DOT code 0425, meaning they were manufactured at the start of the year. I am not giving the highest rating only because most of the Grip500 partner workshops I contacted do not accept tyre deliveries. With this in mind, before placing an order I suggest checking that the workshop accepts tyre deliveries, mentioning the website’s name; in my specific case I had to call four businesses from the online list and, of these, only one was actually a Grip500 “partner”. Of course, you still need to contact a workshop to arrange the fitting appointment, but in my view this issue is far from negligible, as there is a risk of having a product shipped to a recipient who is under no obligation to accept it, not to mention that the fitting prices shown on the site differ from the real ones.
