The Falken Azenis FK520 summer tire, available since spring 2022, is a sophisticated profile tire, inspired by racing car tires, designed for powerful touring vehicles (ultra-high performance). It is particularly light and quiet compared to other tires in its category and is fuel-efficient. This is primarily due to the "4D Nano" rubber technology which, overall, provides intuitive driving, optimized load capacity, and very low rolling resistance. On the tread side, the four central grooves (3 +1) ensure optimal and precise grip even on wet terrain. The deep lateral grooves allow for increased stability even in the most dangerous turns. Very good tyres that rival the best-known brands; it’s not me saying it, it’s the various scientifically conducted tests in Germany: ADAC, Auto Bild, etc. I find the results fair, and I’m happily moving from the FK510 to the new FK520. I’ve been fitting these tyres for a few years on my two Jaguars, and I have no complaints. On dry or wet roads, they grip well despite my tendency to push a bit in corners and roundabouts. I recommend them.
Why always premium tyres? This time I’m trying the Falken; it’s supposed to be quiet, have low rolling resistance, good mileage, and good performance in both dry and wet conditions, as well as braking distance. Of course, it’s also quite a bit cheaper than premium tyres. I can’t say anything about real-world use yet, but I’m curious to see whether the test reports are accurate.

I previously had the Falken Azenis FK510, but these are no longer available in size 235/55/R19. The Falken Azenis FK520 is an excellent replacement; depending on its lifespan, I will choose this tyre again next time.
I am very satisfied with these Falken tyres and, given the attractive price, I would recommend them at any time and would buy them again myself.
