Weekend drive, enjoyment
Good quality/price tires for sporty driving or on the track, they wear out faster but grip much better, on the other hand they are not recommended if the road is wet or it is raining
Just drove 200 kilometers but very good grip, you feel a lot more road imperfections compared to Pilot Sport, you can do trackdays without any problem, the downside is that they are quite noisy
Use them for the track and normal driving in the summer, also good to drive in wet conditions if you have a light foot.
The tyre is a slightly better summer tyre but not a good semi-slick, on dry roads it reaches its limit very quickly when the tyre temperature gets too warm.
I have Nankang NS-2R on all my summer cars. For several times now. Great on warm and dry roads. On wet roads, you have to drive much more carefully. For example, on a wet zebra crossing, it's like driving on ice.

Very good tire, I had already mounted them on my old car and was very satisfied. The price/quality ratio is top-notch. A bit noisy though.
Good, sturdy tyres. They fit perfectly on a 5.5j wheel. They are somewhat heavy, but that's a compromise I'm happy to make given the lateral stability they provide, thanks to the reinforced "sidewalls". They do provide grip at the recommended pressure of 2.2 bar, but only after a good warm-up. My car is very light, so this is not easy on public roads, but the grip during sporty driving is very good. I'm still testing with camber and toe settings, but they seem to perform better with toe-out rather than toe-in. This is likely due to the improved manoeuvrability with the former, as the slightly increased unsprung weight makes steering a bit more difficult. Camber 2% front, 2.5% rear. Micra '98 KW coilover set from Corsa C. 860kg ready to drive. I highly recommend these tyres. Perhaps a new review after 5000 km. Vincent.
