The Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 215/40 R17 87W XL RPB is designed for high performance sports vehicles, sports saloons, premium compact and sports coupes. The "nanoBlend" rubber compound includes a mix of many polymers. This one is designed to offer optimal balance between grip in the rain, fuel economy and wear resistance. Innovative in terms of safety and comfort, the wide curved "Katana" grooves in the shoulders are reminiscent of the shape of the Japanese sword. Their semi-closed design helps maintain the rigidity of the tyre, improving manoeuvrability and cornering support.

Tracking reference didn't work and the tyres weren't wrapped so, when the courier left them outside a neighbours house, they sat in the rain for several days before I knew they were delivered. Took ages to get the inside clean and dry again. Cheap for a reason.

I bought these tires for my MX5. They have excellent grip on dry surfaces, much better than the previous ones I had, and for a price of 68 euros, they are more than recommendable. Their durability remains to be seen.
