This architecture contributes to enhanced traction and better handling on snow, with performance improving compared with the previous generation.
Aqua Control technology is designed to maintain effective contact with the road in heavy rain conditions. It is based on a tread pattern incorporating wide, deep grooves, designed to channel and quickly evacuate water outwards.
These grooves feature an evolving design that allows them to remain effective as the tyre wears, ensuring consistent wet-road performance throughout its service life.
This optimised water management helps reduce the risk of aquaplaning and promotes steady stability when driving through puddles or over heavily waterlogged areas, helping to maintain reliable steering control.
To meet the demands of an all-season tyre in summer conditions, the design is based on a structure intended to maintain rigidity on dry roads. The rubber blocks located in the centre of the tread as well as on the shoulders are specifically reinforced.
This architecture limits rubber deformation under high loads, such as hard cornering or sudden braking. Maintaining the contact patch with the road surface therefore helps to improve braking efficiency on dry ground.
The increased stability of the blocks also contributes to more precise steering and more stable road handling, providing better-controlled driving when temperatures are high.

Perfect. My purchase matches what I expected from these tyres. Very competitive price; the dispatch and delivery of this parcel are perfect.
Very good tyre. On snow, it does the job. In wet or dry conditions, nothing to complain about.

25,000 km per year, but only around 1,500 km covered with these new tyres since they were fitted. So far, they handle well in both dry and wet conditions, and there have been no issues on roundabouts taken a bit too quickly... Very good ride comfort: quiet and “supple” (the C5’s comfort has not been affected at all by these tyres; I even find them better in this respect than the original fitment, the Michelin e-Primacy).
